The quiet craft of writing daily
I started this blog on a Tuesday in February, mostly because I was tired of telling people I was "working on" something. Writing daily is not glamorous. It is a chair, a window, and the same cup reheated three times.

What surprised me was how the small constraint of publishing every day made me kinder to my own sentences. There was no time to chase the perfect paragraph. There was only time to be honest, and then to stop.

If you are thinking about starting, here is what I would tell you: pick a length you can finish before breakfast, ignore the analytics for the first hundred posts, and reread your own archive once a month. You will be embarrassed. That is the point.
